Alexander Ow
Alexander Ow is a renowned Singapore-born professional photographer, who specializes in Advertising and Commercial Photography. An image creator for over 25 years, Alexander has been fortunate enough to be involved with both local and international advertising agencies, magazines, brands and celebrities.
Alexander has worked with a large breadth of clients including Sony, Heineken, Levi’s, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier. His years of experience with SPH Magazines got him clicking shutters for CLEO, Women’s Weekly, and internationally recognized Harpers Bazaar. He also lectured at Singapore Polytechnic - School of Design, First Media Design Academy, and Objectifs. Most recently, he was at Asia’s first visual marketplace, Pixerf, as Lead Photographer and Curator.
His journey as a creative began in 1989. “I was a graphic design student at Temasek Polytechnic, but the lure of the lens beckoned during a photography module and I’ve never looked back since. I’ve also ventured into videography, where I spin moving visuals to tell stories of people and brands.”
Alexander’s work is always about ensuring a progressive aesthetic to any given campaign. Technically proficient, and with a strong background in the pre-digital era of photography, his ability to capture dynamic visuals without the need to rely on heavy post-production and photo manipulation. This allows him to be adaptable to changes and situations. It is for these reasons Alexander has been the preferred choice for clients in the creative industry.
Being a former partner of RAW, Asia’s first co working space for Photographers, where they Learn, Work and Play. Former Founder of Wizards of Lights Pte Ltd (1997-2010), Alexander now is the Founder and Lead Photographer of WiZARDs by Light Wizards (S) Pte Ltd. His philosophy towards his craft is simple: “possess the Desire, Devotion and Discipline to create nothing less than captivating work.” And when he can, he travels for inspiration – for there’s never a dearth of it in the world.
Derrick Ong
Derrick is a wedding and portraiture photographer and he is also a Fujifilm X-photographer. Derrick’s key approach to photography is simplicity and letting the moment shine through. His strength dwells in creative composition, framing, black and white photography, creative use of lights and shadows, and photo storytelling.
Kennie Pan
Kennie Pan is an aspiring Nature Photographer who has won a few International Photography Awards along the way.
Stephen Loh
Stephen Loh, the founder of Lyrical Moments, is one of Singapore’s most awarded photographers, specialising in wedding and portrait photography. As an active member of the esteemed Master Photographers Association in the United Kingdom, he was named the Overseas Wedding Photographer of the Year in their annual print competition in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, he emerged as the Grand Champion in Canon’s inaugural Creative Asia Awards Competition.
Stephen’s unique style and vision have granted him international recognition; building his overseas clientele, and giving him various opportunities to photograph people all around the world. As a firm believer in education, he regularly conducts photography workshops and talks to share and learn from other photographers. He is also the spokesperson for esteemed brands like Canon and Samsung, and works closely with them to see how products can be made better for photographers.
In his free time, he enjoys a good cup of coffee and cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
Triston Yeo
As a Fellow of the Master Photographer Association, Triston has been travelling around the Asia Pacific region to accreditate local photographers who want to join the professional guildhouse. Being a commercial photographer, Triston has worked on a wide range of projects for various MNCs, statutory boards and educational institutions such as AIG Group, Credit Suisse and Four Season Hotel Group. He has also worked with various tourism organizations such as the Sri Lanka Tourism Bureau & Hungarian Embassy to bring out the hidden beauty of these countries through his photographs.
Being acknowledged as one of Asian Geographic’s Best Photographers of the Decade, educating budding photographers is another of Triston’s personal missions. He was awarded Top prize in the Place Category with his entry entitled “Bathing in Budapest” in the National Geographic 2014 Photo Contest. Till today, his ultimate goal is to become one of National Geographic’s permanent pool of photographers.
